PGx : Level 2 - Module 4

This course will introduce pharmacogenomics (PGx) and how it can be used to personalize healthcare. The course will cover the basics of PGx, including genetic variations that affect drug metabolism, how these variations can be identified through testing, and how this information can be used to guide medication selection and dosing. The course will also cover the current state of PGx testing and its use in healthcare today.

This virtual training course is designed to educate Innovative GX Health employees on the ACCE Model Process for Evaluating Genetic Tests, which includes the four main criteria for evaluating a genetic test: analytical validity, clinical validity, clinical utility, and associated ethical, legal, and social implications. In addition, this training will cover the importance of clinical validity, analytical validity, and clinical utility in molecular diagnostic tests, including pharmacogenomic testing.
