1. Job Type: Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) 
 
The Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) will be responsible for educating across the continuum of healthcare providers at Innovative GX pharmacogenomic product lines and relevant therapeutic areas. The CSL will develop and maintain internal and external relationships in assigned geographic areas, maintain a high level of customer service, and demonstrate accountability for their part in the corporate growth. This position will report to the Senior Management Team and the Medical Science Liaison.

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or other health sciences (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry). 
  • Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
  • Knowledge and therapeutic experience in genomics, genetics, and/or pharmacology.
  • Clinical or research experience with pharmacogenomics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees in an energetic and time-sensitive work environment.
  • Team-oriented interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be analytical, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated.
  • Direct experience in servicing customer needs by creating and communicating complex biomedical information.
  • Advanced presentation and computer skills in literature identification and evaluation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules.

Travel
  • The field-based position requires 70-80% travel (car and plane) to manage assigned geography. 
  • Must be familiar with field-based electronic communication tools for all aspects of the job.

5. Job Description: 
 
  • The focus is on supporting Field Representatives of InnovativeGx Laboratories on accounts with hospitals and physician offices. Existing relationships established preferred. The Clinical Science Liaison will be highly involved with the development and management of the assigned accounts with the field representative. 
  • Provide scientific and clinical information, participates in discussion groups, and through phone, internet, and other means, support the education of physicians, other health care professionals, and the sales team about pharmacogenomics and therapeutic areas relevant to the company’s products.
  • Address daily clinical support questions from health care professionals for all products.
  • Identify and train consultants while maintaining the Speakers Bureau.
